Terms of use

The NomadTech Portal is a service of Nomad Technologies SL (NomadTech), tax ID «B-XXXXXXXX», registered at «address», Valladolid, Spain. You can reach us at «contact email».
1. What this site is
The NomadTech Portal is a repository where any registered person publishes digital fabrication projects — design files, machine programs, photos and instructions — for others to download, make, and publish their own versions of.
2. Your account
You need an account to publish, comment, or save projects. When you create one you agree to give a real email address, not to impersonate anyone, and not to share your account. You are responsible for what is published from it.
You can close your account at any time. Doing so deletes your projects, except for derivative versions others have published from them, which remain theirs.
3. What you upload stays yours
We acquire no ownership of anything you publish. Uploading a project grants us only the licence needed to host and display it on the site, and grants other users the rights set by the licence you choose for that project.
Choosing the licence has real consequences: a licence that allows derivative works lets anyone publish their version of your design. See the licences page.
4. What must not be published
- Files you hold no rights to, or that infringe someone else's.
- Designs for firearms or their components.
- Unlawful or misleading content, or content that endangers whoever makes it without saying so.
- Spam, undisclosed advertising, or automated accounts.
We may take down anything that breaks these rules and suspend the account responsible. If you believe something infringes your rights, tell us through the "Report" button on each project.
5. Safety when making things: this matters
Projects on this site are published by their authors, not by NomadTech. We do not review them, we do not test them, and we do not warrant that they are correct, safe, or suitable for your machine or your material.
A machine program written for different equipment can break a cutter, ruin the workpiece, or cause an accident. Before you run any job, review it, check it, and adapt it to your machine, and always use the appropriate protective equipment.
6. Our liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, NomadTech is not liable for damage arising from the use of user-published files, from service interruptions, or from loss of content. None of this excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
7. Changes
We may change these terms. If a change is significant we will announce it on the site with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the NomadTech Portal afterwards means you accept them.
8. Governing law
Spanish law applies. For any dispute, and unless the law grants a consumer a different venue, the parties submit to the courts of Valladolid.
